The Economy
Would create an influx of job opprotunities, but the jobs may not be jobs that the average american may want to take. The jobs would be low level wage jobs, with a high amount of work involved. Most americans would consider themselves abouve the work. The amount of money our government would spend of people like in schools and in elderly care.
Population and the environment
The amount of illegal and legal immigrants would go down, so the population, and the stress of our natural resources would lessened.
Foreign Policy
We would pay attention to the needs of countries close to us, the ones around our borders. We would help them with problems within their countries, but we would keep the intrests of our country first.
Border Control
We would have to spend less money and time on border security, and we would be able to allocate the funds to other deserving services and programs. We would also be able to spend more politics on the real issues, such as education, the economy, and rights of citizens.
Ethnic Relations
Our relationships with other ethnic minorites will probably remain neutral. On one hand, some will be grateful that their homelands are being stabilized and rebuilt. But on the other hand, some will resent us for pushing them to immigrate back to their homelands when they want to stay here.
Stability in Mexico and Central America
The plan I have outlined would stabilize the economies of the countries in the region. After that, we will help rebuild a significant portion of the countries major cities and towns, and help lower the crime rates of said countries. After this, people will be more open to moving back to their country, because it's where they can celebrate their traditions and values without fear of repercussions.
